MFA is not optional for any new purchase of Office 365, Microsoft has enforced it on all new business subscriptions so if we were a new customer we would not have the option of not having MFA.
How do I turn off App Lock on my Microsoft Authenticator App?
Open the Authenticator app and click the hamburger menu in the top right, then select Settings. Under Security, find the setting for App Lock and turn if off. (This will only turn off the App lock on the app, not your Phone/Tablet)
