If you are connecting to a screen using a docking station try clicking Windows Key + P.
If you are connecting to a screen wirelessly through your laptop try clicking Windows Key + K
Right click on your desktop and select 'Display Settings' then change the drop down to either duplicate or extend your displays
When using a laptop, screen and TV go to 'Display Settings' again. Ensure that display 1 (laptop) is showing as 'duplicate desktop on 1 and 3' - this will make sure that your laptop is duplicated on the TV.
