To avoid any data breach, Any files including student personal date needs to be encrypted and password protected prior to sending. You can find instructions on how to encrypt data via our Public Knowledge Base. As a reminder though:
Right click on the file or folder to password protect and select ‘7-Zip’ > ‘Add to Archive…’
N.B. if multiple files or folders they should be added to one folder
On the screen prompt change the Archive format to
‘zip’ and enter a chosen password
This will create a ZIP file with all contents inside protected with the password provided.
you can then drag and drop the file on to the email or attach as normal
