If you have logged into Sophos Connect while off site & some or all of your network drives (ie S, T & G ) are missing please try the following steps.
Perform a GPupdate
- Disconnect Sophos Connect & sign back in
- If the above doesn't work. save the attached file to your desktop & double click on it to run it (ensure you are logged into Sophos Connect while running the file)

Please note that if you get a message to trust the file before opening it click on the ... & select Keep
Select Show More & then select Keep anyway
- If neither of the above work reboot the laptop & sign back in to Sophos
If you still have issues please bring your laptop to the Service Desk
Manually Create Shortcuts
If the user is still unable to connect after a GPUpdate, you can create a shortcut to the IP address of the server.
On the Desktop
- Right-click and select New
- Select Shortcut
- A Pop-up will appear, Type one of the following for each drive respectively:
- For r004-vstore-02\shared
- \\172.16.179.100\shared
- For r004-vstore-02\Groups_Teaching
- \\172.16.179.100\Groups_Teaching
- For x035-vstore-02\Groups_Support
- \\172.16.173.107\Groups_Support
- For r004-vstore-02\shared
- Select 'Next'
- Change the name to reflect what's necessary
