In the Calls section of Teams you will see a Contacts tab.  These are your personal contacts and can't be seen by anyone else.

Create Contacts

Teams contacts will automatically sync with Outlook - so any contacts you want available in both locations need to be added in Outlook.

In Outlook

Please note that it may take a while for new contacts to sync to Teams

  • Click on the contacts icon at the bottom of your contacts

  • Click New Contact from the top menu

  • Add the details then press Save & Close

In Teams

  • From the Calls menu

  • Click on the Contacts tab

  • Click Add Contact (top right hand side)

  • Type in the name you want to add 
  • If it is the name for an external person or company you will see a message saying We didn't find any matches - click anywhere on the add to contacts box & this message will disappear

  • Click on the Add button

  • Enter the details required & click Add
