Description:

In OneDrive you have the option to send a link for someone to upload files to a selected folder.  The person you send the link to has no access to see anything uploaded to that folder.

Please be aware that the link can be used by anyone.

Solution:

From the web version of OneDrive (links on Staff Portal & My Runshaw)

Select the folder (click to the left of the folder name)

Select Request files from the top menu

Enter a description of the files you are requesting & click Next

You can copy the link or send it via email directly (you can enter multiple addresses)

When the person you sent the link to clicks on it they will see a screen like the one below

Once they have selected the files, if they are a current member of staff or a student it will automatically add their name - if not it will require a 1st & last name before the files will upload.

When the files are uploaded the person's name will automatically be added to the file name.  So file.doc uploaded by Jo Bloggs will show in your folder as Joe_Bloggs_file.doc
