How to Find the Meeting Recordings

If you want to find a specific channel meeting recording, go to the Files tab of that channel and open the Recordings folder.

On the other hand, Teams stores the recordings of non-channel meetings in the OneDrive directory of the user who started the recording. Go to the respective OneDrive directory and open the Recordings folder to access the meeting recordings.

It is worth mentioning that only two persons will be able to edit the recordings: the meeting organizer and the user who started the recording. The good news is that all the meeting attendees will be able to view the recording.

Important Notes

  • The meeting recording feature doesn’t capture whiteboards and shared notes. That’s why you may not see these items in the recording.
  • Teams will continue the recording even after the user who initially launched it has left the meeting. The app automatically stops the recording after everyone has left the meeting.
  • Teams won’t start the recording in some organizations until you get everyone’s permission to record the meeting.
  • No labels
