Description:

If the inbox is showing more unread emails than can be seen

Solution:

As a quick fix the emails can be viewed from the web version of Outlook

To allow everyone with access to see them in the client version (anyone with access to the mailbox can do this):

  • Open the mailbox from the web
  • Go to the calendar view
  • Right click on the calendar & select sharing permissions
  • For staff already listed, click on the drop down box next to their name - select delegate & then tick Let delegate view private items

  • For staff not listed (all staff who have access may not be listed automatically), type their name in the top box select delegate & tick private items then click Share

  • Once all the access is set click Done at the top

A sharing invitation email will be sent automatically - they can just delete that email.

  • No labels
