Microsoft Outlook - Promotions Folder - How to Stop Emails Going to the Folder

1. Please log in to your account using the web browser on Outlook.com. Go to the Promotions folder.

2. Right-click on an email that should not be in this folder and select "Move to," and then select "Inbox."

3. After moving a few of these emails, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "View all Outlook settings."

4. Select "Mail" from the Settings panel and click "Inbox and sweep rules."

5. Select "Add new rule" from the list of "Inbox rules."

6. Name your rule, for example, "Move to Inbox,"

7. Under "Add a Condition" choose "Recipient Address Includes"

8, Type the email address for people you want to receive emails from.

9. Under "Add an Action" select "Move to" and "Inbox"

10. Click Save.
