Microsoft Outlook - My Templates

My Templates is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook which allows you to save frequently used phrases or text snippets for quick insertion into your emails.

The text you add to "My Templates" is synced automatically between the Microsoft Outlook client and the Outlook web app, and the tool works identically in both.


To Open in Microsoft Outlook Classic

  1. Create a new message by clicking the ‘New Email’ button

  2. Go to the ‘Message’ tab

  3. Select ‘View Templates’ (usually located on the far-right of the tab

New Outlook and Outlook for the Web

  1. Create a new message by clicking the ‘New email’ button

  2. Click the image-20240510-125730.png button at the top

  3. Select ‘My Templates’
