Guide to Emailing Students
Description:
You can email all students in a class or selected students directly from the Staff Portal.
It is recommended that you use this method as these lists will be more accurate than creating your own mail lists in Outlook and the chances of a GDPR breach will be reduced.

• Find your class on the portal (either by searching or clicking on a link from your home page)
• Select Actions from the Applications & Tasks menu
• You should see a list of all the students in that group, untick any that you don’t want the email sent to
• Click Next
• Select Generate Email
• A blank email should now be created with your name in the To.. field & all the student addresses in the Bcc… field
