Microsoft Outlook - How to Snooze an Email

The snooze feature in Outlook makes emails go away until a certain amount of time passes. Then, the snoozed emails automatically reappear in your inbox, ready to be opened.

The Snooze feature is only available on Outlook for the Web and the New Outlook application.


To snooze an email:

1. Open the New Outlook app or open web email

2. Go to your Inbox

3. Right click the email you would like to snooze

4. Choose the ‘Snooze’ option and decide when you want to postpone the message until

How to Snooze Emails in Outlook on Android/iOS

  1. Launch the mailbox on your mobile device.

  2. Open your inbox.

  3. Long-tap any message you want to postpone. You can tap on multiple emails to postpone them all at once.

  4. Tap the three vertical dots to open the context menu.

  5. Choose the Snooze option and choose until when you want to postpone the message.
