Powerpoint - recording video / voiceovers

Please be aware if you need to do a video/voice over of existing Powerpoint presentations, they need to be converted to pptx files first rather than ppt files. So if they were created in an older version of Powerpoint you need to do the following:

• Open Powerpoint

• New Presentation

• Copy the slides out of the old presentation into the new one

• Save

• Ensure all other apps are closed down that might use a mic, E.g. Teams, Zoom, etc

• Now you will be able to record your video
