Teams Voice - Change Audio and Mic Settings

Accessing your audio settings in Teams

Firstly, to access your device settings:

  • Select the '...' in the top right hand corner (Next to your face icon)

  • Select 'Settings'

  • Select 'Devices' in the left column

    • Here, you can find 'Audio devices' as the first option at the top of the list.

Alternatively, your Device Settings can also be accessed and changed by selecting 'Calls' in the left column. At the bottom left on the screen, there shows the current used Audio Device. By selecting the available device, this can be change to the device in use. You can also open the device settings from here.

Choosing your Device

Teams may automatically show the Realtek audio has been changed. If not, within the settings under 'Audio devices', select the drop down menu and select 'Realtek(R) Audio'.

This should change your Speaker and Microphone Automatically. If, not, use the drop down menu to select them manually.

Note: Headphone Jack Prompt

When inserting the the headphones/Earphones into your laptop you may be prompted by MaxxAudioPro. If so, please select 'Headset' and the correct option relating to the device being used.
